Twin Cities Con was so busy, I barely had a breather during the event, so how about a recap and some plans for 2025?
What an incredible convention, one of my best of the year for so many reasons. The amount of returning readers, conversations had, costumes to gush over, peers I met, non-author celebs I met - I wouldn't have changed a thing.
Day 1 Highlight - Writing After Dark panel, where I made a few sci-fi, fantasy, and horror writers (and panel attendees) blush from my readings (thanks again for the invite Jeri Shepherd Author!)
Day 2 Highlight - Reviving my Stolas from Helluva Boss cosplay to meet Brandon Rogers again (who is awesome!)
Day 3 Highlight - Grant Gustin, just him, talking to, hugging, and getting a photo and signature from that talented man was a dream come true.
I sold a ton all three days, and I am so grateful to every reader. When someone from a different state sends a friend to get signed books, when someone tells me they passed one of my books around to all their roommates, when someone loves my books enough to come back for more again and again, when someone offers kind words of any variety in person (or online as a review or even just a rating), it inspires me to continue into the next year that much more.
THANK YOU ALL. Interested in my plans for 2025? Check out the list in my Facebook group, Amanda Meuwissen Books.
